ABOUT THE PICTURE...I caught this rainbow on Lake Michigan a few Septembers ago while fishing with my brother Pete. Fishing is among my greatest earthly passions. I enjoy the solitude and beauty of God's creation while anticipating the unknown...the catch...big or small that is lurking below. A successful fisherman once stated...YOU WON'T CATCH ANY FISH IF YOUR LINE IS IN THE BOAT. I find the same is true with my personal ministry. If I keep the gospel hidden inside me its just like keeping the tackle in the tackle box--there will never be a catch! God desires to make us fishers of men. If we are willing to fish, the Holy Spirit will do the rest!
